Hello! My name is Melanie White. I am an Employment Consultant, also referred to as a Career Development Facilitator. Basically I work all angles of helping people get back to work. I have sent people to school for retraining. Helped disadvantaged low-income individuals find jobs to match their needs. Helped former offenders gain the resources they need to find jobs. I have also worked/work in many reemployment programs ran by the State of North Carolina.
As a Career Development Facilitator I am constantly striving to learn new ways to better serve my customers in their transition to a new job. This includes but is not limited to gaining my Global Career Development Facilitator credential.
I enjoy learning new things. I am currently working to better improve my working level Spanish. I am learning some basic HTML coding. I am also learning a few phrases in German if I can ever get the pronunciation right.
In my free time I enjoy taking advantage of Western North Carolina’s temperate climate and wonderful views by going hiking.
